Jewelry Lighting in International Auction House
After a series of solutions presented to the Jewelry team, we're pleased that we completed the installation of our Dynamic Lighting solution in the Sotheby's Diamonds (Hong Kong) office for its jewelry lighting application. We're also glad to receive welcoming feedback from commissions to the team members on how helpful and straightforward our new lighting can be, primarily because some staff had not seen our presentation before.
The different solid aluminum alloy faceplates shown are the user interface of our DZ2G300TUNE_TOGG controllers hidden in the ceiling. Each faceplate controls the brightness and color temperature of Tunable White LED fixtures with a wide range of color temperatures with CRI > 90 performance for overhead lighting. (not shown to protect customer's privacy)
On the other hand, we also installed our Tunable White controllers (DZ1G300TUNE) solution in the private viewing room of the S|2 gallery. It was a great experience to walk through the cycle when we introduced the solutions to customers and presented them to the entire team after installation.

A few words on our Dynamic Lighting solution

The design objective of our solution is to provide a simple user interface with no more than two physical buttons so that users can easily adjust the lights from the wall as regular light switches. Using only the two controls allows users to utilize hotkeys to perform daily operations, save and recall their preference memories (two CCT values), making Dynamic Lighting easy for end-users.

As show, a graphical illustration of the Warm Dimming approach and Dynamic Lighting (or Tunable White) shows their fundamental differences, although some would confuse the two at first sight. In a nutshell, Warm Dimming is a type of Dimming application that users can adjust the brightness and change from a neutral white to a warm color temperature as users dim the light. The changes will be along a pre-defined dimming curve. On the other hand, Dynamic Lighting allows users to adjust the lighting effects so that the brightness and color temperature changes are independent or without sacrificing the other. For example, users can dim the cool white color temperature or vice versa.
